Tessie combines hand-drawn and hand-painted pieces with digital elements, to express themes around identity and womanhood, usually focusing on women of the Global Majority.

 “Us through our ups and downs/smiles & frowns. Our triumphs and successes, and also those moments that feel like failure or inadequacy. 

Us in our natural states, surrounded by home comforts. Us feeling completely free in our skin and falling in love with ourselves, as well as the anxieties, frustrations and struggles which come with being a human woman.”

She hopes to draw attention to the beauty which the world tends to ignore.
